Once your account is created, there are two options to proceed:
In-Person Certification
Option 1: Check on the portal to see when classes are open. If none are listed, no current in-person classes are available.
Option 2: If interested in bringing the certification to your parish, contact our Lumen Christi office for more information on how to proceed:
Online Certification
Visit the Catechetical Institute website
Set up your profile (using your same Lumen Christi email) and choose “Basic Catechist Certification.”
Download an an application and follow the directions to submit either through email or mail:
Once you complete your chosen track, your progress will be recorded in your Lumen Christi portal.
