- Head to the Lumen Christi Student Portal (click here)
- Select “New Student” to create your account. (or use your old IPM student ID if you have one)
- Important: Use the same email here as you will in the next step.
- Visit the Catechetical Institute website (click here)
- Set up your profile (using your same Lumen Christi email) and choose “Basic Catechist Certification.”
- Download and submit an application (click here)
- Fill it out and submit it back through the portal.
That’s it! Once you complete your chosen track, your progress will be automatically recorded in your Lumen Christi portal. You’ll receive your official Basic Certificate in April, August, or December.
