In April 2022, Bishop Kevin Vann, a Knight of Peter Claver (KPC), welcomed the first Council formed in Orange County. The Knights of Peter Claver organization was founded in 1909 in Mobile, Alabama as a Catholic organization whose mission was to serve African American Catholic men experiencing discrimination. But all Catholic men of every ethnicity age 18 and older are welcome! The newly formed Sister Thea Bowman Council No. 406 invites you to consider joining KPC and help us bring the unique gifts of this ministry to Orange County. We seek opportunities to charitably serve and promote social and racial justice awareness and action. We support one another, fellowship and pray together.
