
Catholic Detention Ministry
Restorative Justice/Detention Ministry communicates the Good News of God’s healing love and mercy to all those affected by crime and the criminal justice system: victims, offenders, families, parish and extended communities, and those working in the criminal justice system.
We Offer:
- Resources and referrals for victims, offenders, immigrant detainee’s and the families of all three
- Catholic services within local jails, juvenile detention facilities and child victims at Orangewood Children’s Home
- Re-entry referral services upon release from incarceration
- Support to parishes and the larger community
- Volunteer opportunities

Lights On – St. Vincent de Paul
Lights On is a safe place for those released from the Orange County jail. The program staffs an RV outside of the main jail from the hours of 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Those released from the jail during those hours have access to coffee, light snacks, clothing and a cell phone
