The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry will host its annual Convocation on Saturday, Aug. 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Christ Cathedral’s Cultural Center with the theme “Revival/Avivamiento.” This will be an all-day training with practical, spiritual and inspirational support for youth and young adult leaders and their teams. Our theme will speak of the revival of our ministers’ spiritual lives, the revival of our parish ministries with young people, and of the revival of the diocesan efforts to evangelize and engage young people. We hope that our efforts, combined with the grace from above, will allow us in this coming year to engage the young church, and make disciples who are faithful to His word and His work at your parishes. Our keynote speaker will be Katie Prejean McGrady, followed by tracks on youth ministry, young adult ministry and pastoral juvenil (which will be in Spanish). Register here.
