The Society of St. Vincent de Paul

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international Catholic lay organization. The Society was founded in 1833 by blessed Frederic Ozanam in Paris, France. The Council of Orange County provides services to the poor through its programs and conferences.Vincentians gather in groups called “Conferences," which are the basic unit of the Vincentian organization. Vincentians are volunteers who serve the less-fortunate in whatever capacity is necessary.

We Offer:

  • Sending low-income children to Summer Camp
  • Assisting children and families of the incarcerated
  • Providing a safe haven to recently released ex-offenders
  • Food distribution
  • Rent utility assistance and household items to those experiencing an economic crisis
