AROUND OUR DIOCESE: On Monday, the Department of Catholic Schools hosted its Educators' Convocation on Christ Cathedral campus. Around 1300 educators from our 35 catholic schools attended!

The day included Mass with Bishop Vann, a welcome address from Superintendent Dr. Erin Barisano, and Rev. R. Tony Ricard, a priest from the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Students from our High Schools helped to facilitate the event.

This year's theme for Catholic schools is "Journeying Together into Discipleship,” which encourages our schools to unite in mission to create missionary disciples.

How are you pointing others to Christ?

Today we hear from Fr. Cheeyoon, who shares how St. John the Baptist never drew attention for his personal benefit but only to point others Christ. He compares this to a picture frame, how the frame keeps the spectator's eyes within the image and never on itself.

Listen to his full reflection through the link in our bio.
