Orange Catholic Foundation Appoints Interim Executive Director
Garden Grove, Calif. (May 20, 2019) – The Board of Directors of the Orange Catholic Foundation has announced the appointment of Suzanne Nunn as interim executive director. Since 2010, Nunn has assisted the board and staff with the identification and cultivation of gifts to the foundation. She has been instrumental in working with the finance and investment committees to promote investment principles rooted in strong Catholic values and operational integrity.
Nunn has worked in both the for-profit and nonprofit philanthropic sectors and has a strong background in the legal and financial professions. She has experience in executive leadership for the YMCA, and nonprofit and planned-giving credentials through the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
While at the Orange Catholic Foundation, Suzanne has been instrumental in establishing numerous endowments with parishes and schools in the Diocese of Orange. She has helped to grow the wills and trusts annual seminars, encouraging individuals and families to engage Christian stewardship as a way of life.
As interim executive director, Nunn will continue to foster legacy giving, while strengthening the importance of asset protection and the status of the Orange Catholic Foundation as an independent 501c3 corporation.
Nunn will lead the foundation with responsibility for the administrative, fundraising, marketing, grant-making and community relations functions, which support all aspects of the Catholic faith in Orange County, California.
